We fix electrical problems in Trenton, usually the same day you call.
Hey, I’m Paul, and I run Mill Hill Electric. We’re licensed and insured, we show up on time, and we tell you the price before we start any work.
We pick up 7 days a week, and we take emergency calls day or night.
- We’re licensed and insured in New Jersey.
- We’ve worked in Mercer County since 2009.
- You get the price in writing before we start.
- We guarantee our work for 2 years.
Here’s what we can help you with
Most of our calls are for one of these six jobs, but we can work on anything electrical in your home or business.
-
Panel upgrades
If your breakers keep tripping or you still have a fuse box, we put in a new 100 or 200 amp panel. We pull the permit and meet the inspector for you.
-
Outlets and switches
We fix dead outlets, add new ones where you need them, and put in GFCI outlets (the ones with the reset button) near sinks and tubs.
-
Lighting and ceiling fans
We put in recessed lights, ceiling fans, and outdoor lights, and we can add a dimmer to almost any room.
-
EV chargers
We wire a 240 volt charger in your garage or driveway, so your car’s charged every morning.
-
Rewiring older homes
A lot of Trenton row homes still have wiring from the 1940s, so we replace it room by room and cut as few holes in your plaster as we can.
-
Emergency repairs
If you smell burning, see sparks, or lose power in part of the house, call us and we’ll come out day or night.

You call us or fill out the form
Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll set a time that works for you, often the same day.
-
We look at the job and give you a price
You get the full price in writing before we start, so the bill is never a surprise.
-
We do the work and clean up
We wear boot covers, sweep up when we’re done, and show you what we fixed before we leave.
I’m Paul, and I’ve been an electrician for 22 years
I started Mill Hill Electric in 2009 with one van, because I wanted to do every job the way I’d want it done in my own house.
Today we’re a crew of five, and I still check every job before we call it done.
We all live in Mercer County, so we know these old houses and we’re close by when you need us again.
- We’ve wired more than 2,000 homes around Trenton.
- Every electrician on our crew is licensed and background checked.
- When you call, you talk to me or someone on my crew.

Here’s what our customers say
-
“Our panel was buzzing on a Sunday night and I was scared to go to sleep. Paul picked up on the second ring and was at our door in about 40 minutes. He found a burnt breaker, swapped it out, and the bill was less than I expected for a Sunday.”
Denise R., Hamilton
-
“We bought a 1925 row home in Mill Hill and the inspector flagged the old wiring. They rewired the whole second floor in four days and only cut three small holes in the plaster. They even patched the holes before they left.”
Marcus T., Trenton
-
“I got three estimates for an EV charger and Paul was the only one who looked at my panel first. It turned out I needed a bigger breaker, and he told me that up front so it wasn’t a surprise on the bill. The charger’s been running great since March.”
Priya S., Lawrenceville

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we’re a licensed New Jersey electrical contractor and we carry liability insurance. We’ll show you both before we start if you ask.
